mission
Air4NRG aims to revolutionise energy storage by leveraging isothermal compression-expansion technology. The project will provide robust, safe, and scalable energy storage solutions, using local materials to promote European industrial leadership and reduce dependency on imported resources.
Prototype
Air4NRG is progressing from research to real-world application through three complementary prototypes. Starting with a highly instrumented scientific unit (RapidCompB) to optimise performance and control, the project advances to a containerised pilot (HA Prototype) that validates safety, efficiency, and operation under realistic grid conditions. The final full-scale prototype (HX Prototype render) will demonstrate the scalability and industrial readiness of the technology, confirming its potential as a reliable long-duration energy storage solution for Europe’s energy transition.
