AIR4NRG TO PRESENT ITS I-CAES SOLUTIONS AT ENLIT EUROPE 2026

Join Air4NRG at Enlit Europe 2026 and discover how innovative long-duration energy storage solutions are supporting Europe's energy transition. Bringing together EU-funded projects, industry experts and key stakeholders, the session will showcase cutting-edge technologies and foster discussions on the future of energy storage in a decarbonised European energy system.

Air4NRG will participate in a dedicated energy storage session at Enlit Europe 2026 on 10 November 2026, bringing together EU-funded projects, researchers, industry representatives and policymakers to discuss how energy storage can help meet Europe’s 2050 grid flexibility and decarbonisation targets. Hosted in the EU Projects Zone in Vienna and accessible both in person and online, the event will explore innovative solutions that can support the large-scale integration of renewable energy and strengthen the resilience of Europe’s future energy system.

The first part of the session will feature presentations from three Horizon Europe projects working on advanced energy storage technologies. Alongside SINNOGENES and SCO2OP-TES, Air4NRG will present its work on isothermal compressed air energy storage (I-CAES), a promising long-duration energy storage solution designed to increase flexibility, improve renewable energy integration and support the transition towards a more sustainable energy system. Air4NRG’s presentation, entitled “Exploring the project’s isothermal compressed air energy storage solutions“, will be delivered by David Guyomarc’h from Segula Technologies and will provide insights into the project’s innovative approach and expected impact.

The event will also include the launch of the AVANGUARD project and an interactive stakeholder workshop focused on identifying Europe’s future long-duration energy storage needs. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts across the energy storage sector and contribute to discussions on the technologies, policies and modelling approaches needed to accelerate the deployment of energy storage solutions across Europe.
