NEW PARTNER INTERVIEW: SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES ON DRIVING INNOVATION IN AIR4NRG

In the latest “Meet the Partners” video interview, Thibault Neu from SEGULA Technologies shares insights on technical coordination and key milestones of the Air4NRG. From the first successful test bench run to upcoming prototype development, the interview highlights progress toward efficient I-CAES solutions.

As part of our “Meet the Partners” video series, the Air4NRG project is pleased to share a new interview featuring Thibault Neu from SEGULA Technologies, the project’s technical coordinator and one of its key industrial partners.

In the video, Thibault shares insights into their role in the project and the exciting progress made so far. SEGULA is leading the technical coordination of Air4NRG and contributing the core innovation behind the project, the isothermal compression and expansion technology.

Reflecting on the project’s journey, Thibault highlights the first successful run of the test bench  “The first time the test bench ran was very exciting for me”. This milestone marks an important step in validating the technology developed within Air4NRG.

Like many research and innovation projects, Air4NRG presents daily challenges, but as SEGULA notes, “It’s an R&D project. That’s the job you have to do in order to have the prototype and the technology at the end.”

Looking ahead, SEGULA is preparing for the production of the next prototype, a major milestone expected in the coming months — bringing the consortium closer to demonstrating a more efficient, robust, and cost-effective Isothermal Compressed Air Energy Storage (I-CAES) system.
